Nanomaterials

The 21 century is a nanotechnology center. Nano is a length measurement scale that is equal to 10-9 meter. In nanoscale, almost all properties of material including mechanical, physical and chemical properties are different with main material and therefore the new application can define.

The main research in this field is the study on the new method to produce nanomaterials and their properties.

The main axes in this field are listed as follows:

-    An investigation of the methods for producing of nanopowders and fibers

-    Applied research on nanomaterials in medical industry

-    An investigation of the method for producing nanocomposites

-    Mechanical alloying of a variety of nanopowders
